Everything I Want It To Be / Everything I Wanted To Be began with the photographic archive I inherited upon the death of my grandparents. I attempted to build a relationship with them by recreating scenes I found in the photographs they left behind. While building my own collection of images, I saw their story shift as I integrated their history into my own. The resulting work is the representation of a continued relationship made possible through the marriage of familial history and my daily life in their absence.
